Choosing A Room
Mt. Shasta Ranch B & B has three basic choices for rooms:
- Rooms in the Main House
Sleeps 4 (a Queen bed and a Sofa Sleeper), private bathrooms – great for singles and couples - Rooms in the Carriage House
Sleeps 2 or 3 (a Queen bed with additional Roll-away Bed in rooms 1 and 5), shared bathrooms and kitchen – good for singles, couples & groups - The Cottage
Sleeps 8 (a Queen bed and two Twin Beds), private bathroom and kitchen – great for families and groups

We do have some basic policies you should be aware of before your visit.
About Mt. Shasta
If you have not been here before, you should know:
- In winter we can get significant snow.
Bring warm clothes and chains for the car (or all-wheel drive) - In summer temperatures can get into the 90’s or, occasionally, more.
You’ll want light, comfortable clothes and sun screen.
Mt. Shasta Events
Here are some annual Mt. Shasta events you may want to plan around.
- McCloud Mushroom Festival (Memorial Day Weekend)
Live music, wine tasting, mushroom vendors, cooking demonstrations, workshops, and more. - 4th of July Fireworks & Parade
Our annual parade follows Mt. Shasta Blvd., followed by the fireworks show held at Lake Siskiyou. It is spectacular. - Shasta Summit Century Bike Race (Mid July)
Ride your bike through the streets and mountains of Mt. Shasta. Rides are set up for racers and casual riders as well. - McCloud Lumberjack Fiesta (End of July)
Competitions, games, activities for kids, street vendors and more. - Mt. Shasta Tinman Triathlon (Early September)
Challenge yourself with a bike, ride and swim or just come to watch. - Classics Car Show (September)
Hundreds of classic cars on display. - Mt. Shasta Blackberry Festival (Early September)
Fundraiser for the local Rotary. Blackberry pie, games and music. - McCloud Apple Festival (October)
Pie baking competition, live music, pumpkin patch, wagon rides and more.
